After announcing the unexpected YEEZY x Gap collaboration last week, Kanye West has now kicked off the ten-year partnership with a fully redesigned store in Chicago. Enveloping the flagship at the corner of Michigan and Ohio with a building-sized shroud, it looks like the power duo may already be getting to work.,The front side of the building is adorned with a handwritten letter, while the left side features the now-iconic YZY x Gap logo that plays around with the American retailer's iconic blue square.,While the message itself is somewhat cryptic, it indicates that Ye used to shop in this exact store back in the day. It also hints that he'll be redesigning everything about the store down to the colour palette, and for some odd reason, he references the original Tron film from 1982.,At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the YEEZY x Gap collaboration, though we know that it'll comprise of “modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at an accessible price point“.
