Back in November, rumours surfaced suggesting that the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 was set to make a comeback. Regarded by many sneakerheads as the holy grail, the shoe continues to resell for at least £3,500 even three years later, and that's if you're lucky. Now, we're getting news that the contemporary artist's Swoosh collaboration is indeed returning, but in the form of the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.5!,According to reputable sneaker insider @soleheatonfeet, the Mars Yard 2.5 will be a sequel to the 2.0 and will feature more or less the same design. Painted in a “Particle Beige“ colour scheme, the upper is crafted from a warp-knit tricot mesh for a breathable and lightweight fit. This is then overlaid with buttery smooth suede panels and contrasted by “Sport Red“ hits along the pull tabs and Nike Swoosh.,Of course, it wouldn't be a Sachs sneaker without the signature cork insole, and the updated model code also suggests that this is an all-new model and not just a restock of the old one.,Take a look at the alleged shots of the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.5 above courtesy of @wavegod_thelegend, and let us know if you'd grab a pair if they drop!
